No chime policy to cultivate independence
佐久長聖に始業のチャイムはありません。授業のはじまりには、生徒は授業にのぞむ準備をととのえて先生を待ちます。佐久長聖では、チャイムを受けて受動的に行動するのではなく、自ら学ぶ姿勢を習慣化しています。
There are no chimes in Saku Chosei. Before the class starts, students get prepared and wait for the teacher. We do not want students to become passive. We want them to act positively without the chime. It will be a habit for them to act from their own initiative.
カジュアルデー
Casual day
制服ではなく私服での登校日「カジュアルデー」は、いつもの制服ではなく、自分の服で登校する日。気分が変わると、生活にリズムが生まれます。
Casual day is a day where students come to school not in their uniforms but in their own clothes. This brings a better awareness on their lives.
